Contributions

The Chicago Flute Club has recently established an endowment fund. The purpose of this fund is to help pay for CFC special projects, such as the commission of new works of flute music. It was begun to assist in the cost of commissioning and premiering Martin Amlin's Sonata No. 2 for the flute and piano, which was one of the highlights of our 2003-2004 season.

Even though the first commission concert is now behind us, we would like to continue to undertake commission projects in the future. Because of the time involved from the beginning of a project to its final conclusion, we can only hope to do this every five years or so. In the intervening years, we must plan for the expenses involved. Building up the endowment fund will be an ongoing project, and it will take a commitment by the CFC's membership to help build this fund. The Board of the CFC asks you to consider making a donation to this fund.

So that we may properly recognize your contribution, please make sure your check contains all of the following information: Name, Address, City, State, Zip, and Phone. Make checks payable to The Chicago Flute Club. Please indicate on your check that it is to be directed to the Endowment Fund. Your donation is tax-deductible.

All Donors will be listed in the Pipeline newsletter throughout the season. if you wish to be listed as "Anonymous," or if you wish your donation to be in honor of someone, please indicate that on the check as well.

Donations will also be accepted at the Membership table at all CFC events throughout the year.
