Kyle Dzapo, Professor of Flute at Bradley University, will offer a recital in addition to a masterclass on Andersen etudes. She is the principal flutist of the Peoria Bach Festival Orchestra, and she was the principal flutist of the Peoria Symphony for over 20 years. Dr. Dzapo has published an important guide to the flute repertoire entitled "Notes for Flutists," several editions of Joachim Andersen's compositions, and she recorded a CD called "Joachim Andersen: Etudes and Salon Music." She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the National Flute Association. We look forward to having her as a guest artist in March, and we hope you will both attend and apply to participate in the masterclass.
Masterclass participation is open to any CFC member who has not performed in a CFC masterclass in the previous membership year (September 2016 through August 2017).
