Audition to Perform for
2021 CFC Festival Masterclasses
Take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity to
perform in a masterclass for one of the brilliant members
of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Section:
Saturday, November 13, 2021 (10:00-11:30 am CDT)
Jennifer Gunn - Masterclass focus on piccolo repertoire (solo or orchestral)
Saturday, November 13, 2021 (1:30-3:00 pm CDT)
Emma Gerstein - Masterclass focus on orchestral repertoire
Sunday, November 14, 2021 (12-1:30 pm CDT)
Stefán Ragnar Höskuldsson - Masterclass focus on solo repertoire
Applicants must upload a video recording of themselves on a YouTube account as unlisted and paste the YouTube short link in the field provided in the registration form.
The repertoire is open to your choice but specific to the class you are auditioning for (ie. solo, orchestral, piccolo). Please record 1 solo OR 3 orchestral excerpts which you will use for the masterclass.
Accompaniment is not required but certainly allowed.
Advanced players encouraged. No age limit.
There will be 3 performers chosen for each masterclass.
Be sure to select the correct masterclass for which you are auditioning to perform in your registration.
There is NO application fee;
However, you must be a member of the Chicago Flute Club to apply.
If selected for this masterclass, there will be a $25 performer's fee.
