CFC MEMBER SHOWCASE THIS MAY 3RD!

We are thrilled to bring back our Member Showcase on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 7 pm.  Don't miss this opportunity for you, our CFC Members, to perform in the gorgeous recital hall at Northeastern Illinois University  -  Steinberg Fine Arts Center.

OVERVIEW

A recital experience should be a fun and meaningful experience! You are invited to participate and experience the joy of music-making in person.  Won't you share that piece you have been working on for a friendly and supportive audience? Family and friends welcome to attend!

The goal of this recital is to give our members an opportunity to shine in their own unique ways. A recital is not a competition. It is a safe place where flutists can demonstrate and discover their joy of playing and performing. The CFC hopes to create a sense of community through these member recitals which foster support and encouragement in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be a CFC member.

2. All ages and levels welcome.

3. Each performance must be NO longer than 8 minutes in length.

4. No Fee to participate in the recital. 

5. Performers provide own pianist.

6. Ensembles are also welcome.

7. Recital Coordinator, Hideko Amano will contact you regarding your participation in the recital.
   

SPECIFICATIONS

1. Recital date is Friday, May 3, 2024, 7 pm at Northeastern Illinois University, Steinberg Fine Arts Center Recital Hall, Chicago.

2. Registration opens March 17, 2024 and closes Friday, April 26 or when all slots have been filled, whichever comes first. 

3. There will be 12-15 performer slots available accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 

4. Recital is free and open to the public! Anyone may attend.
